At Broadmoor Community Church, we affirm that each individual is beloved by God. We recognize that we are called to be in community with one another, living out our calling through worship, service, fellowship and learning. At the center of our community is a desire to follow Jesus.

As a congregation of the United Church of Christ, we welcome families of every kind regardless of religious background, education, race, sexual orientation, age, marital status, economic means or nationality. So no matter who you are or where you are on life’s journey, you are welcome here.

Worship Opportunities

We welcome you and hope you will find the worship service to be a meaningful and spirit-filled experience. Please join us after worship for a time of conversation and refreshment on the upper deck.

This Lent Season
Please join us Wednesday evenings (March 8, 15 & April 5), at 6:00pm, for an abbreviated evening service of singing, readings, contemplation, and prayer. Services will be led by Pastor Anne Cubbage. Childcare will be provided in the nursery.

This Sunday, March 26

Worship | 10:00am | Sanctuary | Children and Youth Programming in the West Wing

During the season of Lent, our congregation will be guided by the theme: Roll Down, Justice. This Lent will be a time of moving up stream, inspired by the waters of our baptism. Following worship, we will go deeper by learning about local area agencies that are working for a just and peaceful community. Join us for the 4th week of Lent as Rev. Anne Cubbage preaches on “I Choose Love” the fourth sermon on the “Roll Down, Justice” series. Our song of justice this week was written as a response to a modern-day act of forgiveness that reminds us of the power of Jesus’ forgiveness, even on the cross.

Fellowship and Lenten Lecture | 11:00am | Otto Hall

This Sunday, the Lenten Lecturer will be Laura Liibbe, Community Programs Coordinator, Refugee and Asylee Programs, from Lutheran Family Service, Refugee & Asylee Program. She will present on the “real facts” of the US resettlement program and how refugees start over in the USA. She will also give some stories and answer questions regarding our program locally and overall how this program works.

No matter who you are, or where you are on life’s journey, you are welcome here.

September – May Worship

Worship is the heart of our life together. Our services are multi-sensory experiences of music, story and visual art. We offer a rich assortment of jazz, contemporary, classical and world music. Visual art may include chancel decorations, processionals, dance and drama. Sermons provide moments of sacred story-telling in engaging, renewing and, at times, provocative ways.

We offer Faith Formation for children preschool through fifth grade and programming for youth sixth grade and up. Children are invited to join the beginning of worship with their parents.
